A what built rocket????? A scratch built rocket is basically a rocket that you designed yourself, instead of purchasing as a kit.
You have to decide/plan the rocket design, what parts you'll need and how to assemble it. This includes everything from the look of the rocket, recovery style, motor retention, motor size, etc.. etc.. You design it and figure it out..
Below are some of the rockets that we designed, one of them is a favorite, especially of my youngest son. The Spiderman rocket is his favorite and we've actually built two now.
The Green Goblin rocket was just a natural progression from the Spiderman rocket, as we have to have something to race and dual against Spidey.
We'll see what the next Spiderman movie brings out as a villain and maybe have to do another in the series.
