AeroTech Mustang

One of my favorite rockets, and this too would be a good first choice for a midpower rocket.

Even though it's a favorite it doesn't have that many flights at this time, we're just afraid of loosing the darn thing, they really scream up there even on F motors. Always good straight flights regardless of winds.

Another nice aspect of the Mustang is the 24mm motor adapter that comes with AT kits, the bird is light enough that it can be flown on Estes D12 motors for slow and low flights, watch the wind though when flying with these lower powered motors.

Econojet F20W-7 motors work great with this rocket and attain some good altitude at the same time, just make sure you have plenty of field.

Of course being a favorite one wasn't enough so we had to build another, you know just in case the first one got lost.

Both mustangs, looks like it's time for a drag race.

Here they are together, drag race time isn't it??

Built 2-29-02 and 1-5-03

Diameter 1.9", Length 31", and Weight 11 oz. 29mm motors and parachute recovery.
