A mix of some of our low and mid power birds.

This is low power rocketry, which is where most people get their start into model rocketry.

Some start in grade school science class, or in Cub Scouts, or some just become curious while browsing in the hobby shop.

This is where I got my start while browsing the toy store looking for a present for my son, I came upon an Estes rocket starter set and thought that it would be something fun that we could do together.

Low power rockets are powered by black powder motors made by Estes and Quest. These motor designations are A, B, C, and D.

In basic terms each letter designation doubles in power as you go up the alphabet. A "B" motor has twice as much power as an A motor. A "C" motor has twice as much power as a B motor and so on and so on.

Below you will find links to pictures of each of our low power rockets. Click on the link to see a picture of the rocket as well as a description.

First we'll cover Estes Rockets. We have duplicates of many of these rockets as you'll see while browsing the rockets.

First up are the Estes Rockets.
