Our first launch this year with Tripoli Quad Cities. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate very well and it was pretty windy. With that only a handful of fliers showed up to include us.

In the three hours that we were there I only recall 4 flights, that happens though with a weather dependant hobby.

The first flight of the day went off as soon as the pads were ready, I believe it is a Loc Big Nuke. Flight was on an AT K700.

Big Nuke on a K700

On the pad and coming up to pressure.

Smoke and fire.

Starting up the rail.

Lift off.

And now streaking skyward for a very nice flight, dual deployed without a hitch made the recovery nice and not too far away.

Our only flight of the day.

This was our only flight of the day, the AT Initiator on an F20, got pretty good altitude and recovered fine on a 24" nylon chute.

Pete's rocket.

Pete Heavilin's scratch built on the pad and ready to go.

Lifting off.

And lifting up and off the rail. I believe this was a CTI G69 motor. Rocket went up nice for a good flight and recovered down on two seperate chutes, one for the cone and one for the booster section.

That was about it, the winds came up after those flights and flying died off, so we got some supplies from Wildman Rocketry and headed home.
