This was a present from my brother for my birthday in September. Thanks brother, I paid him back though ya see he's just trying to get me hooked on the Diablo rockets so I'll build the whole series of them. (they come in 3", 4" and 5.5" kits) So I sent him a 3" Horizon for his birthday, we'll see if we can get him hooked on those. Our wives are gonna hate us.
Took a couple weeks to get around to building it, but shortly after it was built we got it up in the air.
Organized launch on a G64-7W this thing really zipped up there for a beautiful flight, nearly out of site. It landed in the standing corn at which point I was immediately glad I'd placed a locating beeper in the rocket, made finding it much easier.
Looking toward maybe getting it's 4" big brother now.
This is another one that's capable of handling high power motors, but geeesh the way it disappeared on the G64 I'm afraid to try it, she'd be gone on an H128.
Built 10-2003
Diameter 3", Length 26", and Weight 14 oz. 29mm motors and parachute recovery.
