This is a great Estes kit, the Comanche 3. This is a 3 stage kit, each fin section at the bottom contains another motor, when launched using full power motors this rocket can obtain altitudes of over 3,000'
We've only flown this rocket one time so far and only with the sustainer, no booster sections. Very long and narrow for stability it's actually a pretty sleek looking rocket, the picture doesn't do it justice.
Built 5-2-02, uses both 18 and 24mm motors.
